Cork fabric is made from cork oak bark and is a totally natural, vegan and sustainable material. The cork oak leaves its bark every 9 years and its harvested by separating from the tree using special methods. On the contrary, regular harvesting of cork oak allows the life of the tree to extend, and these trees live an average of over 200 years. Cork fabric is also a waterproof, lightweight, soft silky touch, hypoallergenic and antibacterial fabric.
